Hey! I loved your previous games (Blades of the Shogun and Desperados III). I planned to buy the Shadow Gambit later, because at moment I am walking through the different corners of Faerûn. But today, as I saw, you released the game on a not increased price and with 10 % discount on the releasing day... So, I bought the game, because of I think we have to support this mentality, instead of some AAA games, which come out in terrible conditions and states on 70$/€ prices.
Many people say, you and Larian Studios raised the bar and made a new standards. I think from a certain point of view it is clearly true. But from an another POV, I choose a different "approach".
You, members of the Mimimi and Larian, are the keeper of those old standards, which are always existed. That developers have the freedom for their art, their dedication for the quality of their games and love for their gamers and the gaming community. You are not alone, yeah, but some of the AAA studios forgot these "standards" and mentality.
You brought back to life these old standards. In Mimimi Games what the original Commandos and Desperados meant for the industry, in Larian Studios when cRPGs were mainstream with Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale.
[Additionally: some people started to burry Obsidian Entertainment. These guys came from the similar of the gaming industry, where Larian and Mimimi stand. I would like to highlight, that Pentiment was the Game of the Year for me in 2022, so I trust them based on their previous games.]
So, we like you, guys, and love this attitude towards ourselves.
