Arról szól - amit eddig nem lehetett tudni - hogy a Harpoon4 fejlesztését - miután elvették az Ultimationtól (ami elég genyaság) - odaadták a románoknak, hogy fejezzék be. De ez nem sikerült nekik és ezért törölte a projektet az Ubi. (sajnos hiába talál új kiadót az ultimation, hiszen a jogok - gondolom - az ubinál vannak)
És most ugyan ez a csapat (románok) készítik az SH3-at, habár a nyilatkozatukban elhatárolódnak a picit lejáratott fejlesztő kollégáiktól.

SubSim.com informed us late Tuesday that the development behind Silent Hunter III (announcement) had responded to the positive buzz from the gaming community with a brief response. The submarine sim developers announced new details regarding the project, including the comment that the game was being developed by Ubisoft's branch office in Bucharest, Romania. In an interesting comment, the team stated their team was not the same as the one which had worked on Harpoon 4 out of the same office, although apparently the teams are colleagues. Furthermore, the developers for Silent Hunter III are completely new to the franchise, or as they put it, "[f]or the moment there is nobody [sic] from the SH2 team involved in the SH3 development. We don't exclude [sic] this in the future." The developers conclude their message by promising to maintain contact with the enthusiast community and to consider feedback from them.

Silent Hunter III will be published by Ubisoft later this year.
